"Seasonal Courier: Blue Jay's Summer" is a cross stitch pattern of a Jay in 3 shades of blue admiring a giant yellow bloom. The bird celebrates the summer season with a warm sunshine, gold and orange flower and bud. Decorative blocks and borders bring in added color and shapes reminiscent of quilt blocks. Blue Jay's Summer is one of four Seasonal Courier birds.

Stitched Size: 14 count Aida (over one) or 28 count evenweave (over two): 4 3/4" x 6 7/8".
25 count Lugana (over two): 5 3/8" x 7 5/8"
Model is stitched on Prim 25 count Lugana Vintage Cross Stitch Cloth from Lori Holt for Zweigart #VC25-Prim white using two strands of DMC floss (over two threads). The mounted cross stitch is floated on Thatched Cornflower 48626-147 from Robin Pickens for Moda Fabrics in a 8 3/4" x 10 3/4" frame.
13 DMC floss colors are specified.
Pattern is a digital pdf of cover and interior spread to print out onto 8 1/2" x 11" paper. Chart is provided in color
